Thomas Ferrer![]() Rider Profile
Profiled: October, 2009. Name: Thomas "Spider" Ferrer. Age: 34. Live: Pasadena. Job: Architecture. How long have you been mountain biking? My bike was introduced to dirt March 2006. First mountain bike? A promotional Pepsi-Fila Bike, given to me by a Pepsi Vendor. Current mountain bike? Giant Trance AKA “The Black Widow” Full XT Components, Race Face Cranks. Manitou Minute Fork. How often do you ride? Once a Week. Your favorite riding spot? The Brown Mountain Fire Road to the saddle. Do you race? Nah. What's your best race finish? A safe finish would be the best. What's your best crash? I don't call them crashes. I call them "awkward dismounts." My best is one that I'm working on mastering. It's the one where your front tire stops and your rear wheel comes up behind you as you try to step over your handlebars, but one leg doesn't make it over. What was the last thing you bought for your bike? Ergo grips. What's your favorite beverage? Pepsi quenches my thirst best. What's your favorite trail snack? Hooked on Black Cherry Almond Cliff Bars. What's one thing that you've learned from mountain biking? A steady but consistent pace gets you to the top the faster. If you had a $100 burning a hole in your pocket right now, what would you buy? An Angry Beaver like Ray's. Last Updated Saturday, October 31, 2009 @ 07:53 AM|2,994 Hits |
