Current mountain bike? Rocky Mountain EX-70, Titus Quazi-Moto and Trek 9900 hardtail.
How often do you ride? Not enough.
Your favorite riding spot? Mammoth (when on vacation), El Moro (locally).
Do you race? Sometimes.
What’s your best race finish? I won the Vet Expert Downhill Series at Mt. Baldy back in ’93.
What’s your best crash?Wow, I’ve crashed big time so many times I can’t remember. Last year in Big Bear was a good one though.
What was the last thing you bought for your bike? Tires (Panaracer 2.1 XC Pros). Great tires!
What’s your favorite beverage? Cold water while riding and a cold New Castle afterwards.
What’s one thing that you’ve learned from mountain biking? I’ve learned to enjoy the climbs as there’s some sweet downhill later.
What’s your favorite trail snack? Chocolate Gu and Clif Bars.
If you had a $100 burning a hole in your pocket right now, what would you buy? Some new mountain bike shoes. You can never have too many shoes.
