Current mountain bike? Gary Fisher Sugar.
How often do you ride? I used to ride once a week.
Do you race? The Sea Otter Classic every year. I think I’m in a race every time I get on my bike, but I realize it’s just my imagination.
What’s your best crash? The Fullerton Loop. I was coming down to Gilbert Street, my eyes were on something besides the trail, hit something and flew in the air in a slow motion yard sale crash in front of everybody ending up in a pile of red ants with some sort of mild concussion to the head and a large concussion to my ego.
What was the last thing you bought for your bike? Body armor for Brown Mountain, that is still in the box and a pair of Pearl Izumi shoes.
What’s your favorite beverage? Coke.
What’s your favorite trail snack? Red licorice.
What’s one thing that you’ve learned from mountain biking? You can build great friendships and a lot of good memories.
If you had a $100 burning a hole in your pocket right now, what would you buy? Four lap dances and some beer or a carbon riser handle bar.
